OCTOBER 1998 INTERNATIONAL TOOL CORP. SOUTH FLORIDA WOODWORKING AND CONSTRUCTION EXPO 1998, Davie, FL. Guest speaker on the use of various finishing products and demonstrations of faux and fantasy finishes. Personally invited by the owners of International Tool Corp. to answer questions in a booth space and on live radio (WINZ 560 AM) for their clients. Video presentation to run continuously.

APRIL 1998 "WOMEN'S DAY" Magazine article on the repair of furniture and selection of old furniture as a restoration candidate. David Glassberg was highlighted for his expertise in this area.

SUMMER 1997 MITCHELL RYAN DESIGN, Dania, FL Live window display/demonstration for the trade only open house in the Design Center of the Americas (DCOTA). Display by David A. Glassberg.

SUMMER 1997 Transit adjuster presentation to Allied Van Lines, Wheaton World Wide, Atlas Van Lines and United Van Lines-all transit companies. Discussion of terminology, disposition, and repair techniques, presentation of the Blue-colored porcelains, earthenware, etc. that have been exported to the United States and colonies since the 1600's. Open discussion with staff adjusters.

FALL 1996 "THE SHOP: FAUX FINISHES FOR FURNITURE" video production of actual procedures for faux finishing set at the level of the professional or advanced amateur. Several finishes such as marbleizing, crackling, and fantasy finishes demonstrated and hosted by David A. Glassberg.

SUMMER 1996 "SHOP TALK" created to assist the claims community. Distributed to van lines, insurance companies, and independent adjusters throughout the continental United States and limited foreign areas on a bimonthly basis.

AUGUST 1996 DESIGNFEST 1996. Designer and trade only show held at the Orlando Convention Center (Florida). Sponsored by the International Interior Design Association. Guest speaker on the repair and finishing of household goods. Expert demonstrations of faux/fantasy finishes.

FALL 1995 "VIEW ON DESIGN" National Magazine. Feature article focusing solely on David Glassberg and the custom furniture division of THE SHOP (Custom, Restoration, and Design, Inc.). The article discusses David's evolution into the furniture business and his talents as a finisher.

MAY 1995 ASID "BLUEPRINT ON INTERIOR DESIGN" SHOW. (Southeast Florida) Local cable program sponsored by the American Society of Interior Designers. Guest speaker on the restoration of furnishings and other wood products.

FALL 1994 CPPC FALL WORKSHOP, Indianapolis, IN; hosted by Mayflower Transit. Guest panelist.

SPRING 1994 GOLD COAST SCHOOL OF INSURANCE (Pompano Beach, FL) Guest speaker for property adjustment class. Discussion of claims, procedures and actual case study review.

1992 & 1993 Insurance adjuster presentation to State Farm and AllState Insurance Companies. Discussion of terminology, disposition, and repair techniques with staff adjusters.
